This year, Hamilton kicks off Black History Month celebrations with a remarkable performance about the extra-ordinary life of historical figure and heroine Harriet Tubman. 

“The Spirit of Harriet Tubman” is a play written and performed by acclaimed Canadian actor and playwright Leslie McCurdy whose incredible performance invokes the “spirit” of this iconic abolitionist. It’s a wonderful hour of breathtaking theatre you don’t want to miss! Enjoy African drumming, dance and visit select vendors for books and artifacts. This remarkable event  is priced to encourage families to take part in this Black History Month program.
